The Top 8 SEO Tricks and Tips for Driving Traffic to Your Site

By Ashutosh Jha → Monday, August 3, 2020
Having a website up and running while thinking people will come across it is not enough to drive traffic to your site. Bringing people in and having them stay on your site takes a lot of time and effort.

Keywords and quality content are some of the key factors of driving traffic to your site. Here are five great SEO tricks and tips to ensure that you can drive meaningful traffic to your site.

SEO Tips

Top Must-Know SEO Tricks and Tips To Drive Traffic

Search engine optimization is optimal for increasing the visibility of your site to users who are searching for the specified content. Let's take a look at a few ways you can leverage it.

1. Increase Quality Content

The postings on your site should be of quality content. Posting for the sake of posting won't drive traffic to your website. Blog posts should incorporate keywords so that there is more of a chance to appear in searches.

Site owners should aim to post at least four times a week. Pieces should be informative and fact-checked before publishing. If users see that you have posts that are supported with evidence, they are more likely to trust you and continue to return to your site.

2. Use Keywords

Keywords should be used organically throughout the post and as frequently as possible, as long as they are relevant. Effective keyword usage allows users to identify sites that are useful for their purpose. Doing an in-depth analysis of popular phrases and words will allow you to use the keywords in a way that users will be able to notice. This will also ensure that you are more likely to show up in their searches.

3. Recycle, Reuse, Repurpose

Use the three Rs for all older, popular content. Finding a way to reuse old content is a way to drive traffic to your website. In doing so, you can spark interest and entice users to visit your site for other purposes as well.

Find new ways to use media within the repurposed material and connect it to your social media sites so there are multiple points of entry to your site. This article explains how to measure website traffic by location so you can reach a variety of users.

4. Encourage Content to Be Shared

Producing content that many users feel the need to share will drive traffic to your site. Keeping up with current trends, topics, and even current methods of delivery is a great way to get users to share.

Producing shareable content is a great way to get free advertising as the users will do most of the promotion for you.

5. Mobile-Friendly Formatting

Lastly, one of the easiest ways to drive traffic to your site while utilizing SEO is to make sure the website is accessible from users' tablets, and cellphones. This will make it easier for users to view the material they need.

6. Make site faster

Speed of the site is another important factor for the SEO and it is now generic that the site which loads faster, ranks better. Although this is not the only factor and there are around 200+ factors which impact the ranking of your keyword in search engine.

According to eConsultancy, the website which takes more than 3 seconds to load loses 40% of the users. And this is huge!

You should simply get rid of any factors or website items that will increase the load time. There are many sites that check the website load time. You can take the help of Google's official site developers.google.com to check the website loading time. Apart from Google, we have Pingdom, GTmetrix, and more which check website loading time for free.

Once done, you can analyze the improvement areas and work on them. Apart from it, here I have shared how to decrease website load time which you can check also.

7. Link to Internal and external link

Reference links are always helpful for both users and the website admin. These links can be internal links or external links. You can check our post on how to interlink blog posts for internal links.

Usually, I have seen people not linking more to external links. This should not have been done. The founder of Moz, Rand Fishkin says-

"Linking out sends trackable traffic, it makes your site a more valuable and scalable resource."

We at TricksRoad also ensure that we link to relevant resources wherever required.

This gives your blog credibility and also increase the metrics responsible for the quality and ranking.

#8 Have Webmaster and Analytics Installed

This is another issue I have faced with many sites. Recently, I was looking to acquire a blog and the site was decent. But the admin of the site had not installed Google Webmaster and Google Analytics and neither any similar tool to look for the traffic and quality of the site.

And so, I couldn't reach to the conclusion to buy or not. And so, it is really necessary to install Google webmaster and Analytics.

You may use the alternate option as well but there should be some solution that will provide a transparent system for the traffic and other queries.

Google webmaster helps you find the health status, the queries for which you're getting traffic, and more. Even most of the SEO experts suggest this as a must-have tool.

Whereas Google Analytics helps you track the traffic, keyword for which you’re getting the traffic, location, age group, and more.

Utilize SEO Today

Now that you are aware of some SEO tricks and tips, you can implement them as soon as possible to drive traffic to your site. Incorporating these easy 5 tips and tricks will make users build trust within your site and encourage them to share it with their friends and family.

Finding a good SEO expert is not an easy task. For our firm TricksRoad Media, we are facing this issue for months. We even hired one agency but even after spending more than 6 months, almost no results we're getting for one of our projects. And so, finally, we closed our deal with them.
Top SEO ExpertFurther, I started hunting for individuals who can take the individual projects and get the work delivered. And believe me, this worked for us.

In this post on how to find a good SEO expert, I am going to share my experience of finding, selecting, and hiring an SEO expert. Let’s start now and see how to find a good SEO expert.

How To Find A Good SEO Expert

There are many ways to find the best SEO consultant which requires some efforts. You can try these to get you the best SEO expert. The problem is, with all these you need some expertise to identify the best candidate for you.

Below are some of the recommended techniques which you can follow-

Have you seen companies providing thousands of dollars for successful referrals?

Why do they do that?

Because they believe in their existing employees and think if they’re referring to someone then they must be good enough. And this works also!

Your network is your circle and the best place to hunt for an SEO expert. Reach out to people who used to hire in a similar space and ask for recommendations. And then reach out to them to see if they are open for opportunities. You may do the same on a professional network like LinkedIn or small microblogging platforms like Twitter as well.

#2 Look for the staffing agencies

It’s well said that if you’re not good at something, get it done by those who are good at it. And in the process of how to find a good SEO expert, this works pretty well.

You may look for some of the best digital marketing staffing agencies in your locality and ask them to send you the relevant candidate. As the staffing agencies have expertise in the niche and so you can expect some great candidates turning out.

#3 Check on top SEO consultants

There are many sites like Credo.com, Upcity, Clutch, etc. where you can find the top SEO consultants. These sites are pretty famous with millions of visitors and so, you can find some of the top SEO experts here.

Apart from these, you can also go with the recommendations by the top SEO sites like Search Engine Journal. As per SEJ, SEO consultants like-

#4 Read the reviews

For any company or independent consultant, you can find many reviews on sites like Google, Quora, etc. So, if you’re hiring any top SEO expert then probably you can check their Google reviews or on similar sites.

#5 Hunt on Freelancing sites

This can be your next destination to find a good SEO expert. There are many freelancing sites where people do micro-jobs.

The sites like Fiverr, SEOClerk, Freelancer, etc. where you can find thousands of SEO experts. You can proceed to these sites and look for the best SEO consultants or gigs. And then look for the reviews based on their previous work.

How to find a good seo expert

You can also attend SEO meetups to get in touch with SEO experts. Usually, these meetups have some great SEO consultants and aspiring ones also. You can talk to them and propose your idea for the potential work.

Conclusion

These were the top 6 methods on how to find a good SEO expert. If you’re also looking for the one, it’s time to look for the one by using the above techniques.

I have not mentioned search engines as the site or people who come at the top in search engines, won't necessarily be the top SEO consultant. Follow any of the above and see them taking your site ranking improving.

Why Is Outsource SEO the Best Way to Expand Your Agency?

By Ashutosh Jha → Tuesday, June 23, 2020
If you're an early-stage business owner and looking to expand to the next stage, there can be few challenges here. Some of the biggest challenges can be managing the digital marketing works. Especially SEO, managing social media, PR, and more. In this post, we will be talking about whether it will be a good idea to outsource SEO for expanding the SEO agency.
Why Outsource SEO

#1 When Is the Best Moment to Expand Your Agency?

It depends on the method that you are going to use. For example, you can use outsource SEO immediately after you have finished implementing all the systems for your other services. This is possible because all you need to introduce SEO services, with this method, is a little time to find a good agency and some money to market your service. Although it has both pros and cons, with good management you can get rid of the negative parts and make use of the positive ones to make a massive profit.

Of course, there are other methods that you can use as well. In this article, you will find out the most used methods to expand a digital marketing company, what is the best alternative, what benefits will you get from using it, and more useful information that will help you expand your agency lighting fast.

The first thing that you should know is how many alternatives you have, what they are, and find out if they are the best choice for your agency. Keep in mind that each agency is different and there's no one solution for all problems. So, outsource SEO may be good, but in some cases, it may not be the best solution for you. Below you will find what methods you can use to expand your agency.

2. What Services Can You Introduce for the Expansion?

As a digital marketing agency, it is obvious that you need to introduce a new service if you want to expand. Of course, you could stay niched but you probably already know that most clients are seeking agencies that offer as many services as possible. They want to get everything from a single place, they want convenience. So it is in your best interest to make sure that your digital marketing agency offers as much convenience as possible.

The first thing that you need to think about when it comes to introducing a new digital marketing service is about what type should it be? Should you introduce a paid method like PPC management? Or maybe you should introduce an organic one like SEO? Both of them have their pros and cons and sometimes it is hard to choose.

Rule number one in marketing is to listen to your client. So if most of your clients desire a certain service then that is the one that you should introduce. Otherwise, you will have to risk it. The best way is to find a method that will reduce your risks as much as possible.

The solution for that is outsourcing! You will not need to risk a big investment in a new service. But the problem with that is that the services that can be outsourced are limited. You will not be able to outsource any paid services like PPC management. It will be too risky to let your client's money in the hand of another agency. So all you have to do is to choose from an organic method.

3. Why Is SEO Your Best Alternative?

From all the organic digital marketing methods out there, SEO is the one that has the potential to bring the most result to your clients. It is also the method with the highest potential profit for your agency. The only direct competitor to SEO is social media management. But all the platforms have the same big problem. If the platform falls, all the work disappears as well. On the other hand, SEO focuses on the website and on the user experience. For this reason, it is a more stable method.

Unlike social media, search engines are mainly used to solve problems. And that is the best way for a business to acquire new leads. Moreover, they are quality leads that need the products or services offered by the business. So, even though it takes longer to see significant results from SEO, a much bigger part of the traffic obtained through this method will be converted into customers.

As you may already know, SEO services cost much more money than other digital marketing services. The prices also vary greatly and it is possible to find a very good SEO agency that has very low prices. You can make use of this opportunity to introduce the services using the outsource SEO method and get a very big profit margin. But a question remains, wouldn't it be better to create a new department and provide the service yourself?

4. Should Your Outsource SEO or Create a New Department?

It depends. The biggest problem that you will encounter in the creation of a new department is to find team members. Most SEO experts work as freelancers, while others open their agency. So it would be very hard to find good members of your team. And even if you manage to find them you should compare the cost of their salary and the tools with the costs of outsourcing the service completely.

You may have the surprise to find out that it will cost you more money to create your SEO department than to outsource it from an SEO agency. Moreover, the team of an SEO agency may have years of experience working together. This will ensure that the results that they will be able to produce will be better than a newly formed team. Of course, this is correct only if you find a good SEO agency partner.

As you can see, in most situations the best option to expand your digital marketing agency is through the outsource SEO method. Keep in mind that it is your responsibility to crunch the numbers and find out which option is the best one for your business. In this article, you will only find information that will help you make the best decision for your agency.

5. 2 More Benefits Offered by Outsource SEO!

Aside from the ones presented above, there are 2 more big benefits that you will obtain through using the outsource SEO method:

Time

The period needed to create a new SEO department from scratch is much longer than it will take you to introduce the service through outsourcing. You can use the difference to develop other aspects of your business. This will indirectly increase the results that your agency will obtain from this expansion.

Effort

This is another important resource for your agency. You should not waste it on a method that will not bring you as many benefits as the simpler one. If you outsource correctly, then you will not only reduce the costs of money and time but effort as well.

In the end, everything in this article is based on the assumption that you will find a good SEO agency that will be able to provide high-quality services at a low price. But it is so easy to find an agency that offers such a good opportunity? It is not easy, but it is not hard either. If you follow the right steps, then with some research you will be able to find one fast enough.

6. To Which Agency Should You Outsource SEO?

Follow the steps below and you will find a good agency in no time:

List. Make a list with all the agencies that offer outsourcing services. Make sure that they do not ask for exorbitant prices. Only note those that would leave you with a good profit margin.

Results. Check the results produced by the agencies. Eliminate from the list the ones with unsatisfactory results. Most SEO agencies will present their results on their website.

Reviews. Ideally, you want to speak directly to the clients of the agencies. First-hand reviews are the best one, but if this is not possible then check the reviews left on the agency's website.

Test. By now, you should only have a few agencies left on your list. Start with the one that you fancy the most and test their services. That will help you imagine how a long-term collaboration will work out.

7. How Can You Market That You Outsource SEO to Your Clients?

There are 3 methods through which you can do the marketing:

Provided

Market the product like your own. You provide it and that's it. This method has the risk of affecting you when the truth of your outsourcing the services gets to your clients.

Partial outsourced

You do not need to be explicit, but if you are asked you admit that some parts of the process are outsourced. Almost every company outsources a part of their task, so it will not cause you any problems.

Outsourced. If you are asked, admit that you fully outsource SEO. If your clients are happy with the results they will not care. But if they are not, then you may lose them. Only you can decide to choose which method you are going to use.

How to Adapt SEO Strategy
However, in a country where many people are now online, there’s hope that shifting to digital platforms can save businesses. For businesses already operating online, search engine optimization (SEO) has emerged as a timely solution to survive the tumult created by the novel coronavirus.

This shift has been long coming. In 2018, 61% of marketers in a survey said improving SEO was a priority in their marketing strategy. While most businesses have treated SEO campaigns casually, this new crisis changes everything. Search engine optimization Singapore campaigns will become the new frontier during this crisis and even post COVID-19.

If you want to harness the full power of digital marketing, you have to adapt your SEO strategy to fit the new normal. Here are some creative ways to tune your SEO Singapore strategy to survive this crisis.

Leverage Link Building as a Key SEO Tool

The best marketers make opportunities out of misfortunes and this is a strategy you should now utilize. Your first strategy during this crisis should focus on creating linkable assets that can build or attract links.

Everyone is searching for valuable information and resources during the COVID-19 crisis.

The idea is to get your team together and find ways your brand can build an outreach marketing campaign around this. Hiring a reliable SEO agency Singapore is a good place to start for your link building campaign.

For instance, if you are selling books online, this is a great time to create content showing how reading can reduce panic during lockdowns or curfews. There’s a lot of content online to support your blogs, and you can have opportunities to link.

At the same time, you can create promotions and offers around easing anxiety during these tough times. You can start selling kids’ books and create content showing how this can impact positively on their mental wellbeing. The idea is to attract the attention of authorities such as local news outlets and educators.

Trust Signals are Crucial

When Google released its Search Quality Evaluator Guidelines in 2015, one of the most important takeaways was the importance of high-level Experience Authoritativeness Trustworthiness (EAT).

Subsequent algorithm updates suggest that expertise, authority, and trustworthiness now plays a more prominent role in rankings than ever before. The best SEO services in Singapore focus on EAT to guarantee the success of their campaigns.

During this crisis, there’s a lot of misinformation and it’s difficult for consumers to get the right content. Google will pay more attention to trust signals when indexing content and you can use this to your advantage.

If you can showcase your content as high quality and trustworthy, you’ll enjoy better ranking on search engine result pages (SERPs). Your SEO agency will guide you about EAT when it comes to content creation.

Some of the simple steps to improve EAT for your site include:

  1. Invest in personal branding
  2. Audit your content and cut or edit minimal traffic and low E-A-T content
  3. Work on your reviews. Update on-site reviews and testimonials
  4. Update your “About Page” and show who’s responsible for the website content and services offered.
  5. Showcase Corporate Social Responsibility prominently on your website
  6. If you have been featured by other parties in awards, new features, conferences e.t.c, add links
  7. Invest in Technical Security for your website and let users and search engines know about any security features added.

Work on Your Product Page

Over the last few months, things have changed rapidly owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some products which were in demand are not moving fast anymore while others which no one ordered are now in high demand.

You have to tweak your website’s products’ page to reflect these changes. More focus should now be on those products that are in high demand. For your primary products, highlight those items you can source easily and deliver fast.

Such changes should go along with a new content marketing strategy, and this is where a search engine marketing agency comes handy. For instance, if you sell home remodelling solutions, you should now focus on remodels to maximize space use, boost health and wellness.

To make such changes, you have to monitor the markets constantly. Look for keywords your target customers are searching, carry out competitor analysis and stay up-to-date with any trends.

Keep Your Customers Informed

The situation in most industries is delicate, with broken supply chains hindering smooth operations. You should consider integrating regular updates in your SEO campaign during this crisis.

For instance, inform customers about any operational hiccups, offer DIY survival tips for your customers, alert them on changes in delivery times. You should also highlight your efforts to help the community and protective measures in place to guarantee the safety of employees and customers.

Optimize For Mobile

When it comes to adapting your SEO strategy and to get ahead within the SERPS, the final of our advice is to optimize your site for mobile-first. With the number of users accessing and searching through the use of both their mobile and tablets, making sure that your website is ready can help you to boost mobile conversion rates. The importance of optimizing for mobile should not go overlooked and can be seen with mobile-first indexing. This means that Google uses the mobile version of your site first to help index and rank your content according.

Wrapping Up

Are you worried about how your business can survive this crisis? Your SEO strategy can offer an effective solution. The idea is to stay in touch with your customers, keep them up-to-date about any changes to your operations and provide them with the best services in these circumstances.

Best Link Building Tips & Why It's So Important for SEO

By Ashutosh Jha → Sunday, February 23, 2020
The world of SEO and digital marketing is always changing, and it’s important to make sure you keep up with the newest developments and innovations. Link building for SEO is nothing new, but this practice has certainly changed over the years to reflect Google’s algorithm updates and online trends.

It’s important to stay up to date on the current link building strategies to help your business grow and avoid using outdated methods that could get you punished. This guide will give you some best practices, tips, and an understanding of exactly why you need to focus on link building in your marketing strategy.

What is Link Building?

Link building is the process of acquiring external hyperlinks from other websites leading back to your site. These links are also referred to as backlinks, inbound links, or external links. Therefore, the goal with the practice of link building is to get more websites to post links back to your website. These hyperlinks need to be high-quality sources coming from credible locations, such as industry experts, other companies, or even highly rated bloggers.

Hyperlinking to another website is considered a form of word of mouth marketing. It’s not only important for SEO, but also for increasing traffic to your website, building your company’s reputation, and getting more organic eyes on your content.

Avoiding Black Hat Link Building Tactics

For SEO experts and digital marketers, link building can be a trickier process than it seems. When PageRank first came out, marketers quickly learned how to manipulate the system to drive more hyperlinks to their sites with tactics that are now considered black hat marketing tactics.

Black hat SEO link building tactics may include:

  • Posting links to your website on message boards, as comments on other blogs, and in guestbooks
  • Adding your website to article directories
  • Embedding your links in widgets and press releases
  • Guest blogging on other websites and stuffing your post with links back to your website
  • Injecting hidden links into other websites
  • Exchanging links with other websites

Google uses intelligent software and AI algorithms to determine how websites are ranked within its system. That means the crawlers are able to detect low-quality links and even penalize some websites for using them. Instead of trying to manipulate the system, focus on implementing the best practices for link building outlined in the tips below.

The Best Link Building Tips to Implement Now

Here are some of the best link building tips you can use to drive high-quality links to your website and help your SEO strategy:

Reach out to other experts in your industry. Not only will this produce high-quality links, but it will also help you develop valuable relationships by networking.

Produce highly valuable content on a regular basis and share it on social media, with influencers in your niche, or on user-generated content websites like Medium. This can get your content seen by writers and bloggers, who may provide you with editorial links. These types of links are the best kind you could get because they are organic and harder to come by.

Look for industry experts that have broken links on their pages, reach out to them, and offer your content as an alternative.
Use list articles to find websites in your niche that might be valuable for link building relationships.

When promoting your website to influential people, write personalized messages that make your efforts look more genuine.

The Value of Link Building For Your SEO Strategy

We’ve discussed what hyperlinks are and how link building works, but you might still be wondering why you should care about link building at all if it takes so much time and effort. The reality is that link building is an important part of your SEO strategy.

Search engines use links to determine how to index websites and determine the rank a website should have within the SERPs (search engine results pages). A hyperlink is seen as a type of confidence vote or endorsement, which tells Google that others consider your site to be an expert on that field or subject. The more expertise that Google thinks you have, the better you’re going to rank for those specific keywords.

Ultimately, the more websites that have high-quality hyperlinks linking to your website, the higher your rank is going to be. That’s why it’s important that you follow the best practices and avoid using outdated tactics that could hurt you more than anything else.

By Ashutosh Jha → Friday, November 15, 2019
Are you looking to increase your organic traffic but somehow not able to achieve or trying to increase CTR but the same result?

Well, you’re not alone. There are thousands of bloggers and marketers like you who keep on trying but not getting the desired result.

But you no longer have to worry about these issues now!

There are multiple SEO and marketing tools in the market that can help you achieve such goals. One such and in fact the leading tool is SERP Empire.

With the help of the SERP Empire, you’ll be getting organic traffic which in turn makes your position better in search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, Yandex, and others.

In this SERP Empire Review, we will talk about all the details about this tool. I have been using these amazing blogging tools for a while now and pretty impressed with the kind of results it provides.

SERP Empire Review

Before starting with the features of the SERP Empire, let’s talk about the tool first.

What is SERP Empire?

SERP Empire is a perfect solution to increase search engine ranking. It gives you the quality organic traffic which can help you increase the keyword rankings in search engines. You can rank in all the leading search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, Yandex, Baidu, and more.

It helps you get rid of the traditional approaches of ranking keywords and provide faster delivery.

How does the SERP Empire work?

The working of the SERP Empire is very straightforward and just involves their steps while ranking your keyword.

Step-1: All you have to do is, just sign up to the site and get started. To sign up, just enter your email id, the keyword you want to rank, and your website name and get started.

Enter the keyword which you want to rank. For example, let’s say I am looking to rank for the keyword "Best Invoicing Software" then simply put that in the above field.

Step-2: Once signed up, you need to verify your email id.

After email verification, you will be transferred to your dashboard where the dashboard will show you the current position of your keyword.

It will show you the keyword you added and the position in SERP on different days.

What the SERP Empire bot will do is, it will search your given keyword in search engine and will keep on searching till it finds you in SERP.

Step-3: Once the bot will find your site in the SERP, the bot will start clicking on it and also will follow some other pages of your website to make it real. This helps in improving the search engine ranking of your website. And even if you’re ranking for the top, still such exercise will help you retain top ranking in search engines.

SERP Empire Features:

Here are some top features of the SERP Empire which will help you improve search engine rankings. Along with the ranking, it will also help in improving the CTR.

#1 Customize Campaign

You can customize the campaign based on the plan selected. Like in the free plan it is just 5 searches per day. You can make the customization on the basis of the number of page views and bounce rate which are the major search engine ranking factors.

#2 Geo-Targeting

This is another important search engine ranking factor and also one of the important attributes if you are doing location-specific business. SERP Empire allows residential proxies which give you targeted traffic from specific countries and cities.

#3 Scan inner search page & Fast response

The best thing about the SERP Empire is, it searches for the inner pages of the search engines as well. That means, even if your current ranking is on the 3rd page, the SERP Empire bot will visit the 3rd page and start clicking on it.

Also, as soon as you start the campaign, within a moment, SERP Empire will start working and you can expect visits.

#4 24×7 campaign and support

All your campaigns will be running 24×7 without any manual intervention. Also, if there will be any issue, SERP Empire has 24×7 support to get you out of any issue.

SERP Empire Pricing:

SERP Empire offers flexible pricing to suit everyone. It has 4 plans-

  • Newcomer- $59/month
  • Standard- $129/month
  • Professional- $299/month
  • Agency- $499/month

So, if you’re a beginner, I would recommend you going with the standard plan which allows you to use 30 keywords with 300 visits. This makes around 10 visits/keywords which will give you a good boost in search engines.

Another good feature I found is the tracking dashboard. So, on your dashboard, you’ll have a tracking graph that will say how many hits have been done for which keywords. This makes tracking easy.

Conclusion

This was all about the SERP Empire review which helps you get organic traffic and in turn increase SERP ranking along with CTR.

If you’re also looking for some authentic solution to increase the search engine ranking, SERP Empire is the right tool for you. Do try and let us know about any issue.

You can also try a 15-days trial to check how SERP Empire can help you with ranking.

Now, when you found a clear SEO definition and learned about some of the key benefits of this method, you are probably wondering how to apply it?

In the list below, we have gathered some of the SEO best practices that the best essay writing services use to get more traffic. But, before we start, let’s take a look at the top three SEO methods that are used in marketing:

White hat – this term refers to any practices that increase the website’s ranking without violating the policies of search engines.

Black hat – this type of optimization is disapproved by search engines. It may include excessive keyword stuffing, redirects, page swapping, etc. Such methods are incredibly useful for increasing traffic, but using them puts you at risk of getting penalties from search engines for violating their terms.

Grey hat – practices used in grey hat SEO are as effective as in the black hat, but just as risk-free as in the white hat. This method remains ill-defined, meaning that it may look like black hat SEO, but it doesn’t violate the policies.

Which methods to choose?

The decision normally breaks down to every entrepreneur’s needs and preferences. However, in most cases, custom essay writing services predominantly use grey hat methods. Thus, the below-mentioned tips are mostly from the grey hat SEO.

Make Your Old Content Longer

One of the easiest, but yet practical tips is to add some length to your old content. For example, if you already have a published post of 1,000 words, add to it another thousand words, and you will get more organic traffic.

Watch Your Keyword Density

Adding relevant keywords to your content is good as it helps potential customers find you easier. However, too many keywords frequently cause more harm than good.

Therefore, you should ensure there is the right keyword density in your content, and every phrase looks natural.

Create a Blog or Microsite

One of the most effective tools in search optimization is creating backlinks, and the easiest way to do this is to create your own microsite or blog.

The main rule to avoid penalties is to provide original, non-duplicated content in your blog.

If you adhere to this rule, sharing backlinks through a microsite or blog can help you improve the main website’s ranking without breaking the rules.

List Your Service on Review Sites

If you still haven’t done this, you are missing out on plenty of opportunities! Listing your business on various review platforms is a must for everyone, and it can bring surprising results.

Not everyone might know this, but positive essay writing service reviews take you closer to the top of the search results. Thus, it is a wise technique to try.

Link Building

Link building is a popular tactic in white, grey, and even black hat optimization. However, there are some differences. Thus, in the grey hat case, marketers often apply link building through Web 2.0, which stands for the type of content that can be adjusted later to improve quality or relevancy.

Good examples of Web 2.0 platforms are Quora and Wikipedia. Posting on similar platforms can help you increase the audience’s engagement and, thus, gain more potential customers and traffic!

You can check experts' opinion on top link building tools here!

Final Words

These are the essential five tips for making the optimization effective and yet, not fall under the search engines’ penalties!

5 SEO Tricks to Improve Your Rankings

By Ashutosh Jha → Monday, July 1, 2019
If you are looking for SEO Services San Jose area providers to help you to improve your rankings, it will be a good idea to look at current search engine optimization (SEO) trends prior to doing so. Having a basic understanding of current and effective SEO methods to boost page rankings will allow you to communicate your goals better with your SEO guy. This will also help you determine if the SEO expert that you are planning to hire is also staying current with the latest SEO trends.

Another plus when doing some research about the latest SEO methods is that you may chance upon a few tricks that are simple enough that you can do it yourself. Here are five tricks to improve your page rankings that you can do on your own right now.

1. Create Relevant and High-quality Content

One of the most consistent variables involved in page rankings is traffic. You need to give your target audience a reason to visit your site, keep coming back for more and refer it to their friends. Your website needs to have content that is relevant and high quality, and you need to update it regularly to stay current. High-quality content also improves you “dwell time,” which in turn will also improve your page rankings. If your visitors bookmark your website while using Chrome, your website gets an additional ranking boost.

2. Include Multiple Headers in Your Content

Before your page visitors start reading your content, they tend to skim through it first. Dividing your content into headers and sections makes for easier reading. It also breaks up blocks of texts, which gives it a semblance of being more visually dynamic compared to just a wall of boring text. You should be able to do this easily if your website runs on WordPress.

3. Create a Blog

If you are passionate or at least knowledgeable about the product or service that you are offering, then it will be a good idea to start a blog about it. This tip is connected to the first one about high-quality content as blogs will engage your audience and keep them coming back to your site. Apart from traffic, blogging is also an excellent tool for lead generation, which can also improve your page ranking.

4. Optimize Your Photos

You may already know that high-quality images can help improve your page ranking by improving user experience. However, you should be careful when it comes to the file format and size of your images. The larger your image, the longer time it takes for your page to load adversely affecting the user experience of your website. Make sure to compress or resize your images to optimize them for your website. Another trick when it comes to images is to use medium to long-tail keywords as file names in their description.

5. Improve Your Page Loading Times

As mentioned in an earlier tip, page loading times can affect your page rankings. Research shows that 40% of page visitors abandon websites that take longer than 3 seconds to load. This percentage increases significantly with each second. Tweak your landing page layout and images to speed up its loading time.

While the tips mentioned above will go a long way in improving your rankings, there are more involved in SEO. If you want a major jump in your page rankings, hiring experts from established and reputable SEO companies is your best move.

How Long Does SEO Take to Start Working?

By Ashutosh Jha → Monday, June 17, 2019
The answer to the question- How Long Does SEO Take to Start Working?, will be as easy as you would expect it to be. There are many factors into play including how good your website was initially, whether you had SEO done before, and even how much SO your competitors have invested in. Thus, the answer digital marketing experts give is that "it depends".

How Long Does SEO Take to Start Working?
An SEO agency will usually claim that it will take you about four to six months before you can start seeing results. It is critical that you know that in that period you will only start seeing results, there is a lot of growth you will achieve over time.

Does ranking matter?

Yes, the ranking might give you a sense of how well the SEO is functioning; but no, it is not the final goal you want to achieve. While being placed in a higher rank in the search engine page is good to look at, it is useless if you don't get any leads or sales. It is important that you rather see your goal as generating more sales and leads rather than just being on top of the search engine results.

Factors affecting SEO

There are many factors that affect how long it will be before you can start seeing results of your SEO investment

Content

Your content is the most important part of your website. Having proper content that people enjoy will translate into more traffic and higher rankings in search engines. While it might seem simple, creating well-written content will take a lot of time and money.

You can make a content plan like what all you will publish and when you will publish those. Also, you should stick to it. You may use the content planning tool like Trello or Google spreadsheet. Below is a simple content plan for a month-

Keywords

Your keywords are your golden tickets to bring in your targeted customers. Thus creating content with required keywords will generate you the quality traffic you need. You may use the keyword planning tools to find easy-to-rank keywords which can actually rank in search engine.

Your business

Your business plays a key role in your SEO. It will give you an idea about how you want your SEO optimized. The methods of SEO for an international conglomerate are different than the ones used for a local dentist.

Competition

The more competition you have, the longer it will take for you to see results.

A standard timeline for the first few months of SEO

No two websites are the same, each one has its own history and the amount of time and money invested in it. While it is not to make a timeline that every website conforms to, here is the most plausible situation you will be in the first few months along with the results you might expect.

Month one

In order to effectively plan out an SEO strategy, research is Key. The first month is usually focused on gathering data on your website, thinking up of keyword strategies, researching and finally planning everything out. The period of research will vary between each site. If you are able to manage to do the research part quickly, you can soon move on to making technical changes to your website. A few big sites though require more than a month in doing research.

Month two

This is usually when you start working on the technical aspects of the SEO work. You will start using the data you've collected from your research to modify your website. In some cases, the website will have to be completely overhauled and this might even take months. Instead of wasting time waiting for the website to be back up, you could invest your time in creating better content for your pages and linking profiles. During this phase, you won't be able to see any increase in traffic until the technical work is complete

Month three

This is when you should start focusing on creating better content for your website. Work on your FAQs, company information, product descriptions, articles, and blogs. You could start optimizing your content while working on the technical aspects, but that can be a bit hard on your budget. Once you have started working on your content you must see an improvement in your ranking and should be getting more traffic. Don't keep high expectations that this little increased traffic will lead to better sales.

Month four

You must continue to invest in creating better content, optimizing the look and feel of your website and creating a healthy link profile. In this period, you must start seeing a significant increase in your rankings, organic traffic, and lead generation. While this is great you must remember it is just the starting.

Month five

Once you have your website's content and technical features optimized, you must start focusing on increasing your traffic. You must get started on the social media management part of your plan; this will help you produce better content while also increasing the direct traffic for your website. You must still be focusing on new and optimized content as it will help you increase your ranking while also possibly investing time and money into PR or media outreaches. By now you must start seeing more and more traffic pouring into your website through SEO and this should be translating into significant growth in your leads and sales.

Month six

Once you have noticed that the traffic on your website is growing towards your final goal, you must start working on converting this traffic into leads and sales. Conversion rate optimization is important in cashing in on the increased traffic. After this you must start focusing on creating better content and promoting it, you could also get creative with your website. The specific path that you must take depends on your company and the goal that you have in mind for your website.

An SEO is a long-term investment, the more the time you invest in it, the better the returns you will get. So, make sure you are ready to invest in SEO for a period of six to twelve months if you want to see results. Investing in SEO for just a month or two will be a waste of your money.

Although, SEO is a daunting subject matter whether it is unfamiliar to you, it’s crucial that you have some fundamental knowledge and review of your potential SEO agencies. In case you have any queries concerning how to pick an SEO service, you may want to get in touch with Search Media.

How To Maintain Balance Of Content Generation and SEO

By Ashutosh Jha → Monday, April 1, 2019
Search engine optimization (SEO) refers to technical measures that are taken to increase traffic to a website. Content marketing refers to brainstorming and content creation to increase user engagement and drive profits. Now, content marketing is a part of SEO. If a website has good content, it is likely to have a good search engine page rank (SERP). However, there’s more to SEO than just content. Tare other factors that contribute to a website’s overall search engine visibility.

How To Maintain Balance Of Content Generation and SEO
Below are some tips on how to maintain the right balance between content creation and other marketing strategies when it comes to improving a website’s SEO.

1. Invest in creative content

SEO content is created keeping search engines in mind. However, marketing departments tend to forget that their customer base is not searched engine bots but actual humans. Content that fails to engage its audience’s attention is not really doing its job. Moreover, even search engines prefer fresh content that is engaging and adds to debate. If the content is excellent, it is indexed faster.

Good content should be creative. It should be built around the audience and its interests. It should answer queries that people have regarding a product. However, the information provided should be factually accurate and based upon research. Consumers are quick to spot marketing gimmicks.

It should be optimized with meta descriptions and keywords using a tool such as Google AdWords. However, it should not be bland and structurally awkward. It must entertain the target audience while giving them new information about a particular niche.

Plagiarism is a no-go. Search engines give low page rank to content that may appear to be replicating the content of another website. Even copywriting should be original and unique.

2. Focus on readability

Moreover, the content should be easy to read. This is not to mean it should follow basic grammatical structures. Instead, it should be well formatted. You can put a lot of hard work into brainstorming regional ideas and curating content, but if you do not know how to present it, then it’s kind of a waste.

Modern consumers lack the patience to read long patches of text. They want to skim through a text. Hence, content should be broken into small paragraphs with liberal use of bullet points, line breaks and highlighted elements.

Header and title tags also make it easier for users to read the text and since they are a part of a website’s code, they even interact with search engine robots. This makes it easier for them to crawl a webpage.

3. Build backlinks

The content on a website and its optimization are called on-site SEO. On the other hand, there is an off-site SEO that refers to backlinks. These backlinks can be purchased but search engine bots are quick to catch on to such tricks. This can lead to a website being blacklisted. Instead, these backlinks should be developed organically through guest-posts and collaborations with bloggers and influencers.

In case a company wants to devote its efforts to other departments, off-site SEO can be outsourced from digital marketing companies such as Healthy Links. They get in touch with bloggers who are offered incentives for promoting products on their website and social media channels. This way, the blogger’s credibility drives traffic to a site and increases the revenue of a company. Inbound links are also effective. The content within a website should be connected through hyperlinked sections of text. This highlights keywords and helps search engines crawl webpages.

4. No compromise on user-friendliness

Search engines care about the mobile-friendliness of a website. Look around your social circle, and you will realize that most of the people use their smartphones to surf the internet and search for their queries. Now, if a website doesn’t have a format that is compatible with smartphones, then it will result in negative votes. If users rate their experience on a site poorly, then it may also get low page rank.

Moreover, the user experience of a website also depends upon its loading time and effectiveness. Nobody likes advertisements and popups that open in the background. They may interrupt someone’s stream of thought and are considered a major turn off.

From a graphic design perspective, the text on a website should be written in a simple font. Widgets and plug-ins shouldn’t give an appearance of clutter, and the overall design should be minimalistic. Fancy themes may be attractive, but they jeopardize clarity and in turn, the overall user experience.

5. Break text with images

The text is often broken using images. In fact, social media users are more likely to click on a link if its image preview is attractive. Sure, headline matters but a powerful image has a better chance of catching people’s interest.

However, any old image won’t do in content marketing. The images featured on a website should be of good quality. No blurry or copyrighted photographs. They are considered bad for the website SEO. If no good quality image is available, then a representational image can be purchased from image repositories like Getty Images and Shutterstock.

To optimize them, images should have meta descriptions and tags included to interact with crawlers. They should always be named to indicate what they show rather than given a random name comprising of odd numbers. These tricks give pointers to a search engine what a content page is about and how to rank it.

6. Don’t forget the technical optimization

The URLs on a website should also be optimized. This can be done by making the slugs (the part that comes after the .com) concise. This facilitates search engines in categorizing parts of a website according to their relevance.

A sitemap is also a valuable SEO tool. In basic language, this is an XML file that lists all the URLs on a website in a hierarchical manner. The functionality of a sitemap is that it makes the job easier for website crawlers which improve the SEO.

Best Link Building Tips & Why It Is Important For SEO?

By Ashutosh Jha → Sunday, March 17, 2019
Your backlink profile... arguably the most important investment you'll make when building an online presence. Without backlinks, your website doesn't gain the search tracking it needs to compete.

Surprisingly:

Building backlinks aren't difficult if you understand their core concepts. Apply a few link building tips to your dedicated content efforts and you're golden.

In this article, you'll learn link building tactics that'll solidify your online efforts.

Let's not waste any time... let's get right in.

Benefits of Link Building for Search Engines

There are many hats you'll wear as a website owner:

  • Planner
  • Content creator
  • Customer support rep
  • IT specialist
...and the list goes on.

One of these roles involves creating backlinks to the website. Else, filling the role of outsourcing the work to professionals. Either way, do know that backlinks are one of the most -- if not the most -- important aspects for SEO.

These are the core benefits of link building:

  • Improve Visibility -- More links from domains offer greater exposure for your brand
  • Referral Traffic -- Getting links on high traffic sites funnels users to your pages and domain
  • Brand Building -- Placement on authoritative sites become markers for your brand's authority
  • Trust Worthiness-- A couple of links from reputable sites lend to your perceived trust
And, let's not forget the biggest benefit of all: Better search placement.

Links, if you ask any professional SEO, are a necessity for Google rankings. In fact, Google outlines the value of links. So, given it's the word of Google, you should know link building needs to be a regular exercise to compete.

Yet:

It's hard to say how valuable a link is since no SEO knows the real Google ranking factors. We can make an educated guess and track results to set best practices. In the end, your job is building links from relevant, reputable domains.

The Main Types of Backlinks You Should Build

A common mistake in link building is using the same link profile.

An example would be using your full domain address over and over. There is no variety to the backlinks which appears fishy to Google. You see, people link in many different ways -- it's not always a full domain link.

Ideally, you'll use a variety of links like:

  • Domain name
  • Brand name
  • "click here" or "this site"
  • A keyword
So where you'd link something like Blue Atlas Marketing, you could also try "learn SEO" in its place. The point is to change it up with every backlink.

Link Building Tips and Strategies Used by Pros

Now let's get into the juicy details of starting a link building campaign.

To begin -- you'll want to tap a variety of link building methods:

  • Articles & blog posts
  • Directories and local listings
  • Blog & social links
  • Bio or editorial links
Where you'll build and get backlinks includes:

  • Websites and blogs
  • Media platforms
  • Profiles
You can use link building tools but most pull data from Google Ads. So, go to the source if you need to do keyword research going into the backlink efforts.

How to Build Backlinks Like a Boss

The following steps provide a baseline as you begin building the link profile.

Step 1: Learn About Your Audience

Get to know your audience such as where they frequent and their consumer habits. Use your site analytics to find their entry sources and keyword use. Then, dig into social media and follow their discussions.

Doing audience research refines a few things:

  • Where you'll build links
  • What content you'll provide to entice visits

Step 2: Roundup the Prospects

Create a list featuring these items:

  • Market influencers
  • Industry websites
The influencers provide an opportunity to build roundup content. Plus, you'll later tap these individuals for promotion. The sites are the potential locations you'll get content on for the link building.

3. Create Your Best Content

Great content:

  • Solves a problem
  • Takes a stance
  • Provides information
Research what your audience wants and begin creating content around those topics. Pour everything you can into the content creation. You'll publish the content on your site and through guest posting (step 4).

Tip: Try creating a variety of content types from video to infographics.

Step 4: Post on Relevant Sites

Use your list of site and influence prospects to pitch guest posts:

  1. 1. Build a relationship to introduce yourself and the brand
  2. 2. Send an email pitching an idea or inquire if they have a "write for us"
  3. 3. Plan the content and get to work creating a great piece
  4. 4. Get it published and have them include a backlink
  5. 5. Support your work by promoting it via social and even ads

Repeat this process for every prospect on your list.

Step 5: Be Everywhere

Sync your social efforts in tandem to the link building. Be everywhere by participating on social media platforms like Reddit, Facebook, and Twitter.

Also:

Create a great experience for your site visitors and customers. Why? Because a great experience is worth sharing! The person may have a site and write about your site/business thus gaining you a backlink!

That's it... all you truly need to build links.

How to Destroy Your Link Building Efforts

It's worth mentioning you can destroy your link building efforts through shady tactics. Don't do this. A couple of bad links can ruin your website efforts and if it's a business... things will go grim.

Google advises you don't participate in link schemes.

Tactics found in these efforts include:

  • Paid links
  • Spammy links
  • Injected links
...and really any link building that's not natural.

To avoid this:

  • Be wary of SEO claims and promises of "high search rankings"
  • Don't go out of your way to link if it doesn't provide value

Use Google's Webmaster Tools to monitor your link profile. If you see bad links coming in, begin disavowing them and begin building new, better ones.

What Comes After the Link Building Efforts

Applying these link building tips will hold you over for months (even years). SEO is an on-going effort that changes almost daily. Yet, there are a few things you can do while waiting for Google to recognize the efforts.

  • Refine the user experience
  • Create more content
  • Build a strong community

Spend time building a better business and the links will come effortlessly. See our online business guides for all the details on how it's done.

SEM vs. SEO: What's the Ideal Option for Growing Your Blog?

By Ashutosh Jha → Thursday, February 28, 2019
Every year, businesses spend billions of dollars on search engine optimization (SEO). In fact, they're expected to spend $79.72 billion by the year 2020!

Are you spending a lot of money on SEO in an effort to grow your blog? Are you seeing the kind of results you hoped to see?

sem vs seo
If you're not seeing good results, you might need to switch gears and focus on search engine marketing (SEM) instead.

Never heard of SEM? Not sure whether SEO or SEM matters more for growing your blog?

Read on to learn more about the SEM vs. SEO debate. Keep this information in mind so you can figure out which option is better for growing your blog.

What Is SEO?

Most bloggers are somewhat familiar with SEO and SEO techniques. Just in case you're not, though, let's go over some basics:

  • SEO is a marketing strategy
  • SEO focuses on using organic techniques to increase your website's visibility online
  • With SEO, you do not pay for top placement on search engine rankings
  • Instead, you use a variety of other tactics to make your website visible in people's search engine results

There are hundreds of different tactics bloggers can utilize to increase search engine rankings. Most of these tactics can be sorted into the following categories:

  • On-page SEO: This includes keyword research, keyword optimization, and content creation.
  • Technical SEO: This includes things like site speed, indexing, and mobile friendliness.
  • Off-page SEO: This includes link building and managing online directory profiles and local listings.

A strong SEO strategy must involve all of these different kinds of tactics in order to be successful.

What Is SEM?

SEM involves a lot of the same tactics used in SEO. The difference, though, is that SEM uses paid tactics as opposed to organic tactics.

Paid SEM tactics include paying for social media ads to market your brand and gain visibility in search engine results.

SEM isn't just about paying to have some ads placed, though. You also have to optimize those ads using keyword research to ensure that they appeal to your blog's target audience.

SEM vs. SEO: Similarities and Differences

As you can see, there are a lot of similarities between SEO and SEM. Both of these strategies are used to help brands appear in search engine result and help drive traffic to your website.

In order to be successful with either of these strategies, you must know your audience, do keyword research to identify popular search terms, and regular test and optimize your approach to reach your ideal customers. Neither strategy works if you follow a "set it and forget it" model.

At the same time, though, there are also some important differences between these two strategies, including the following:

  • SEM search placements are identified as "Ads" -- this can be a turn-off to some people.
  • SEM results feature ad extensions with additional links and phone numbers; SEO results appear with a featured snippet or description instead.
  • SEM results are shown to a select target audience; SEO doesn't allow you to choose who sees your site in search results.

Basically, SEM and SEO require a lot of the same research and planning tactics, but they yield different results.

SEM vs. SEO: Pros and Cons

Both SEM and SEO have their pros and cons.

Each strategy has its place in your marketing plan, but it's important to consider these pros and cons before you decide which one you want to focus on more closely:

SEM Pros and Cons

When you first begin to read more about SEM, one of the first things you'll learn is that it helps you reach the top spot in search engine rankings more quickly. This, in turn, allows your blog to reach more people.

SEM gives you more control over your search engine placement and budget, too. SEM is also great for helping you reach a highly targeted audience.

You can use it to measure your results more carefully as well.

SEM is more expensive than SEO, and the results might not be as long-lasting. It also allows your competitors to get a look at your advertising strategy.

SEO Pros and Cons

SEO helps to build brand awareness and allows for stronger branding since you can connect with your target audience by giving them exactly what they're trying to find.

SEO tactics are less costly than SEM tactics, too. You also get to see a better return on your investment in many cases.

SEO also tends to yield long-term results. You get to enjoy a certain amount of peace of mind with SEO, whereas SEM is a little more fickle.

On the other hand, SEO takes more time compared to SEM. It takes a lot of research and trial and error. SEO is highly competitive, too, and you need to have a solid content strategy in place if you want to your blog to continue to grow.

Which Should You Choose?

The good news is that you don't necessarily have to stick with just SEM or SEO. There are pros and cons to both, and both should be a part of your blog's marketing strategy.

If you're just getting started and you need to do a lot of optimization work, it can be worth it to spend a bit more on SEM to learn your market better. If your website is fairly well-optimized already, though, you might be better of sticking with SEO.

SEO is also good if you know your market segment well. If you want to test a particular market and do targeted research, though, SEM is the way to go.
